Well – I’m tired and sunburned and my feet hurt…but I would say my day at Rockford Art in the Park was a very pleasant experience!
I want to thank all of you who stopped by. I enjoyed chatting and meeting with you – sharing images, stories and photography talk.
I wish to also thank the Rockford Area Arts Commission who selected my work as “Best of Category” in the Painting/Photography division. This was my first award in a show setting for my collective group of work. I’m very flattered!
And special shout-out to the Wise Gals (Michelle Wise and her assistant Lauren) who freely asked to help me pack up the booth and load it into my car afterwards.
Tom Scott Photography gets a thank you for taking a few photos of me with my booth – as a photographer I’m always on the other side of the camera. I do exist!
And a VERY big thanks (and even a hug and kiss!) to my husband Russ for getting up so darned early to help set up the booth, stay home with the boys today – and then return to the show to take down after the show. I know you had a long week and a lot on your plate already. Love you!
