This is the first time in a long time… I’m just completely thrilled over capturing an unusual photo! This is in Rockford, Michigan.
We had the most amazing fog this evening after a hard rain and day of high humidity. I was doing some housework and looked outside – and saw the sky was turning all sorts of crazy colors. I ran out there and wished I had gotten out there about 15 minutes sooner than I did , but it still was awesome.
This was a 20 second time exposure, and you can sort of see the clouds “moving” at top left. No filters were used – just my regular 28-135mm Canon lens and a tripod.
This shot was taken from my own driveway – next to our mailbox! It’s funny – I’ve traveled all over the place just HOPING for an image like this someday – and it was in our own front yard…
