October Outings

Hello everyone! It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a post – but that means I’m busy. Of course, we all know that in the current economic climate, being busy is a very good thing indeed!

In the past few weeks I’ve been working with several new clients on developing new or updated websites. Each client is very unique and I enjoy the challenge of finding the right solutions for their business needs.

Yesterday, I had a very enjoyable day at the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion hosting a “trunk show” of my images in front of their beautiful Specialty Shop on the 3rd floor. I want to thank everyone from coming out to visit with me and for your support of my work.

It’s the stories I hear from staff and patients that touch my heart. Those stories transform my images into much more than a moment that I pressed the shutter button to capture a beautiful scene. Knowing the photos are bringing joy and strength to others in times of adversity? You can’t put a value on that…

Meanwhile, folks have been stopping by to visit newly launched MichiganMoments.com site. If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit – stop on over! One new Michigan Moment is featured each day. You can enjoy a variety of locations and subjects around the state – all without spending a dime on gasoline (I’ve already take care of that part!).

Lastly, I spent three days in the Leelanau area from October 15 – 17 on a combined business and photo-seeking trip. The fall color was some of the best I’ve seen in YEARS. In a matter of a couple of day, I managed to take over 1000 images! It will be some time before I hone them down into the cream of the crop – but meanwhile – here’s one particular scene I found very beautiful. It was taken someplace near the Maple City area on a back road.
