Need a holiday gift? Want to help children with life-threatening illnesses just by shopping? On Tuesday, November 11, I will be part of a Christmas Bazaar right at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
Sponsored by the Junior Golden Rule Guild – 15 percent of the sales will go directly to support to the Pediatric Department at DeVos Children’s Hospital. Each pediatric patient entering the hospital received a hand puppet made by members of the Guild, founded in 1947. The guild members also buy equipment for the playrooms and volunteer in the Café as well as the Hematology-Oncology Pediatric Clinic. They schedule Discovery Toy sales and the Christmas Bazaar for hospital employees and guests.
