The Rockford Sportsman’s Club will open its shooting ranges (trap, skeet, pistol, rifle, archery and more) to the public!
- All skill levels are welcome – “first-timers” to advanced
- $1 ammo and food tickets.
- All equipment (guns, bows, ear and eye protection) and instruction provided
All proceeds benefit environmental education programs at the Howard Christensen Nature Center in Kent City, Michigan.
Activities in the Club House include:
- Free Child ID program provided by the Rockford Masonic Lodge #246
- Nature photography display and sale by Stacy Niedzwiecki – portion of sales to benefit HCNC
- Free hands-on nature activities for kids provided by HCNC
- Quilt raffle tickets
- Seedling sale

Yes, unfortunately the GR Press did list the location incorrectly – and Howard Christensen is taking steps to have the newspaper correct the location as best as they can. Thanks for visiting my blog!
