There probably are more amazing photography opportunities than I can even imagine in Scotland. Today, I entered one of my images into the Macallan Masterclass Competition with the hopes I could win a trip to travel Scotland for 10 days.
The competition celebrates the launch of the Albert Watson edition of The Masters of Photography and his visual interpretation of the journey of their Spanish sherry oak casks used to make their single malt.
The theme of the competition is “Great Journeys” – from one’s travels or a special moment showing a passage of time from one stage to another. The top ten photographs, as voted for by the public, will be judged by Albert Watson who will select a first, second, third and a highly commended entry.
I need your help in the voting process!
It’s very simple to vote - just click on the VOTE button on the upper right corner at this link. No registration of any sort is required. However, the site will ask you to confirm your age first because of alcohol advertising.
Having traveled the Great Lakes via a tall ship this past summer – truly represented a “great journey” personally. I felt my photo of Rainbow at Dawn fits the competition theme well.
