This is a screen capture of my Honorable Mention photo entry (Birds, Professional Division) in the 2010 National Wildlife Federation Photo Contest.
My image of a Great Horned Owl peering out from a pine tree is #73 in the slide show of 80 image, and it’s well worth your time seeing the entire group.
This year, nearly 50,000 images were entered in seven categories and in three divisions, Amateur, Professional and Youth. That’s an amazing amount of images!
