ArtWalk Centertown Block Party – Parking Lot at Frame & Mat Shop
Come on down to Centertown in Grand Haven. Pig out on pig roast – complements of Anthony’s Kicked Up Catering. Or, chill out with a bowl of JW’s infamous white chili while listening to live music by Barefoot Sunday and watching Reb Roberts and his gang work their magic on a mural. Come experience all of the restaurants and shops of Centertown!
Meet artist Stacy Niedzwiecki and vote for her ArtWalk entry piece – Nice Ice – located inside the Frame and Mat Shop. The photograph was taken at the Grand Haven pier and lighthouse from the north shore on an evening when the ice was jamming the mouth of the Grand River into Lake Michigan. The very next morning a cutter was employed to remove the ice, so this unique scene really captures a moment in time. The photo has been reproduced onto a fine canvas gallery wrap, 24″x36″, and is available for purchase.
Opening Day – Wednesday, Sept. 21 at noon
Reception – Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6pm
Closing – Wednesday, Oct. 5 at noon
