05/19/12 – “Seeing the Scene” Photography Workshop II – Nuveen Community Center for the Arts


Get ready for the upcoming “Portraits of White Lake” photography competition by learning how to compose a visually pleasing shot, practicing camera settings for various situations, and learning tips for choosing subject matter that will convey a “sense of place” to the viewer.

All skill levels and camera types welcome. Children 10-13 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the workshop.

  • Two Saturdays – May 5 and 19, 2012 (two sessions)
  • 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Workshop Fee: $25

An optional “Photo Walk” in a nearby natural area (location to be announced) will take place Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 6-9 p.m.
Photo Walk fee is $10 if registered for “Seeing the Scene” Workshop – or $20 if attending the Photo Walk only.
