Exhibit

You’ll catch a very brief glimpse of my ArtPrize exhibit in this video clip from WOODTV-8

Immanuel Lutheran Church has double the amount of artists from the 2009 event – thirty in total!

Tonight (Friday, September 24th) will be the public reception, from 6-8pm. I strongly encourage you to come up and see the exhibits from artists from Michigan, other states, and other countries from around the world!

The mezzanine level at SanChez Bistro – come up and enjoy 18 large canvas photography pieces and three multimedia presentations on the TV!

While the restaurant very much appreciates your patronage, I’d like to remind folks that do NOT have to be “dining” at SanChez to appreciate the 13 artists on display. It’s a venue like any other ArtPrize venue – come in and experience!

More about ArtPrize

StacyN on August 15th, 2009

There are, indeed – quite a lot of costs associated with participating in ArtPrize. In my case, there are some travel expenses (gas, parking, eating), advertising expenses (printing and distributing posters, business cards, etc.) and of course, the creation of my exhibit itself.

I am fortunate enough to have been given a length of wall that measures over 36″ in length. While it’s extremely exciting and I couldn’t be more pleased- the reality is – that is a LOT of wall space to fill.

I’m looking for assistance in two areas:

1) I need to borrow a flat-panel TV or monitor which will allow for the multimedia component of my exhibit. To this point, we have approached both the “big box” electronic stores as well as small, locally-owned businesses in search of such a screen. No one has made the offer, but I’m not giving up yet! Ideally, I am looking for the TV option  in order to run a DVD multimedia show at certain intervals, (vs. the monitor so there is no need to have laptop attached – but I’m open to ideas).

The TV/monitor would need to be loaned from September 12 through October 12 (approximately). If you are a business making the offer, I will be sure to provide generous advertising via my websites, eNewsletter (which reaches 700+ viewers) and a dedicated slide on the multimedia display itself. Please contact me if you can help.

2) I am offering an amazing, one-time offer on fine art canvas prints in order to defray the costs associated with installing my ArtPrize exhibit. Honored on a first-come-first served basis (to be fair) for your choice of image. Please contact me for details.

If you think a canvas isn’t something you need or can afford, I’m humbly accepting donations to help offset the costs of such a large installation.
