Last week Thursday, I had a chance to get up to the Sleeping Bear Dunes again, but only for about 3 hours (not nearly long enough!). As it turned out, I was there right as the sun was starting to set. I decided to check out a spot I hadn’t visited during my Artist-in-Residence program last October.
The reason I didn’t check it out is… I took a wrong turn on a back road while looking for it, and missed this lovely lake entirely! What a shame I missed it then – but I’m glad I found it now. This is North Bar Lake. Please feel free to click on the thumbnail below to enjoy it a bit larger:
