So for those of you wondering if I had abandoned my blog entirely – the answer is a resounding, “No!”. I just can honestly say – I’ve never been as busy as I have been over the past two months.
Particularly in June, my involvement with shooting for the Pure Michigan Photo Contest really ramped up. It seemed nearly every fun event – from concerts to outdoor activities to sporting events – all came up at once. In fact, there was a Saturday where I found myself shooting eight events in one DAY. I was out there from sunrise to sundown. Very exciting stuff… stay tuned as the final 30 images will be submitted to the competition on July 15th.
Meanwhile, I’d like to announce my image of the Fallasburg Covered Bridge has made the cover of Michigan History magazine. I do not have a copy of the magazine in my hands, but there is a feature on covered bridges, for which I sent a number of images in for. So, there may be more of my images inside – but I’ll have to get my hands on a copy to confirm that
