What a thrill! My first published book “Healing Images – A Selection from the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion” – arrived yesterday!

And within a day, the “Pure Michigan – Spring Scenic Places” book arrived as well. I have approximately 12 pages in this book (along with a cover photo), created with images captured during the Pure Michigan Pro Photo Contest.

What a very exciting moment for me!  The “Healing Images“  book – from the initial concept  – to its layout (which I did myself) – to its final creation – has been approximately a two-year project. It brings me much joy to know the books will touch those who need some peace and serenity in their lives.

The Pure Michigan book represents four months of some of the most challenging photo sessions I’ve ever encountered. It’s wonderful to have my work featured alongside that of other top photographers. To represent Michigan in this beautiful publication is a great honor. And yes, I’ll admit it… doing so as the only female photographer is AWESOME!
